Apr 24, 2008, 5 -8 PM - Open house and reception - Art With Heart Galleria, Ghent ,Bath, OH                             (This was a nice, well attended event with very good appetizers.  Be sure to make it to the next Open House Reception here, you'll enjoy it.)

May 1, 2008, 6:30 - 8:30 PM - Revere High School's "Celebration of the Arts".  Acrylic on canvas demo. Bath, OH
(A pretty good turnout here.  Lots of interesting comment on the painting that I was doing, a pelican standing on a wharf post.  Acrylic on a 16 x 20 in. canvas.  A lot of fun, met some great people.)

May 7, 2008, 8-9 AM - Chalk-Talk for the South Summit Chamber of Commerce Business Development  Group that meets in the Community Room of the Acme store on Manchester Road in the Portage Lakes area.  (A good time was had by all.  I really enjoyed sharing my thought about the good things the South Summit Chamber is doing through their Business Development Groups, then I "painted" a picture in chalk of a rural scene, accompanied by taped music and a light show using different colored lights and black light.)

May 22, 2008, 6:00 PM - Magic City Kiwanis Club evening dinner event.  Program speaker, doing an acrylic paint   on canvas demonstration.  (Very nice.  A good group of dedicated civic minded individuals.  A very nice time).

June 13, 2008, 6:00 PM - Chalk-Talk, private wedding reception. (Wow!  What a lot of fun this was.  And the bride was beautiful, the groom handsome, and the families were decked out great and in a partying mood, despite the stormy weather.  I had reservations about doing a chalk-talk for a wedding reception but it was very well received and worked perfectly).
