The medium that I prefer to use for most of my work is acrylic paint, usually on stretched canvas.  I do however use other mediums from time to time, and will paint on others surfaces such as antique roofing slate, handmade paper, or hard panels.  I like to draw, and I use pencil or pen and ink for rendering some of those works.

I enjoy painting landscapes and birds, but I also do still-life paintings and portraits of peoples homes.  Whatever the subject matter, the fun aspect for me is seeing a 3-D image take shape on a flat 2-dimensional surface, by using perspective drawing, color, and shading.
